Q: pcaBeam - Does pcaBeam calculate long-term deflections?

A: Yes, in version 2.00 or higher.

Q: pcaBeam - After installing pcaBeam, a big black block appears in Add/Remove Programs. What should I do?

A: Update to version 1.51 or higher.

Q: pcaBeam - I already have pcaSlab. Do I need pcaBeam?

A: No. pcaSlab has integrated all of the functions of pcaBeam although pcaBeam is still a standalone software. Users who do only one-way slab/continuous beam design may choose pcaBeam. pcaSlab can design both one-way slab/continuous beam and two-way slab systems.

Q: pcaBeam - Do I have to have two cantilevers in pcaBeam?

A: No. Cantilevers are optional.

A: Yes.
